Taco Casita is the ultimate. Try it out and you won't be disappointed. Most of my reviews are lengthy. I just have no words to describe the overall experience of the efficiency of the service and calm of the patrons indulging in the tasty food.
A Terre Haute landmark for generations...this divey little taco place is different from anywhere you have ever been. It has a jukebox, tons of plants, and always has lines. The food here is so reasonable and at times can be a lengthy wait. Due to living in Indianapolis we have to make a road trip to visit! Pros of this place is a one of a kind taco, crispy as can be shells that are light and fluffy and the meat I can never put my finger on---but it is amazing! Cons---at times there can be a long line, and it is a less than desirable exterior. I must add that if you haven't tried a Taco Casita taco yet; make that long deserved road trip! I'm not sure how long this hidden gem will be around!!!!
Don't be turned off by the appearance! It's an older, un-updated building, but the food is very good!! It's hot, fast, and cheap!
Really good, really cheap, no salsa. 1st Mexican restaurant I have ever been to that didn't have salsa?!? Dine in or carry out, but not service.
This is the best Mexican food north of the Rio Grande. King Wet Sancho,wet plate,and combination dinner.
